Recently a very nice and charming info box appeared on my iPad.

It just came to my mind, what a nice improvement of a mobile experience this is.

The name of the code snippet is Add2Home. The script displays custom messages for iPad and iPhones in multiple languages. You can edit the popup text in the script:

Install this web app on your %device: tap %icon and then Add to Home Screen.

But keep in mind, it can only bookmark the page you’re on at the moment. So if the user visits an article page, the bookmark on the desktop would be pointless.
